Experience the Ti Alpha wetsuit glove, boasting an exceptional water absorption rate of merely 2% compared to the 40-60% typically observed in competitor neoprene gloves.
No more wringing out cold water-logged gloves that steal your precious body heat. Unlike regular neoprene gloves, our advanced design prevents unnecessary heat loss caused by cold, water-soaked material.
Lined with Titanium, our neoprene glove reflects heat back to your fingers and hands without compromising thickness or adding extra weight. The Titanium coating is like having another 1-2 mm of neoprene around your fingers.
While we may not go as far as Yamamoto's claim of a 40% increase in temperature rating with their Titanium-lined neoprene, we do agree that it certainly delivers a significant boost.
Experience the benefits of an anatomically designed glove that perfectly contours to your hand, offering enhanced dexterity, warmth, and overall comfort. Feel more connected to your board and gear even in the harshest, cold conditions.
Greetings, it's Jeff from Halifax Paddle Surf.
Today, I want to give you a straightforward review on a crucial gear item for all surfers and SUP surfers: gloves.
Allow me to introduce the Isurus 5mm #40 Yamamoto glove, featuring the Ti-Alpha premium lining found in their renowned 6.5 and 5.4 wetsuits. These gloves are quite possibly the warmest five millimeter gloves I have ever tested. They provide the insulation of a 5mm glove while offering the flexibility and freedom of movement akin to a 3mm glove.
To put it simply, these gloves are fantastic. I can't praise them enough.
When you turn the glove inside out, you'll notice the yellow Ti-Alpha lining. These gloves are equipped with a robust double gusset system, ensuring a tight seal that keeps my hands dry. They excel at locking out water and providing exceptional warmth, especially during winter paddling sessions in Nova Scotia, where temperatures can plummet to the mid-thirties Fahrenheit or hover around one to minus five degrees Celsius.
Once again, I can't emphasize enough how brilliant these gloves are. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you out on the water!
